At two sites, nwBuilt worked with Sledge Construction to deconstruct the existing home instead of demolishing the homes using traditional methods. The concept is to disassemble the home and salvage the lumber and other building materials for reuse in lieu of sending the materials to a landfill. This is an environmentally responsible solution for removing homes that have reached the end of their useful life or that cannot be moved to another site.
