We Build “Smart Green”
We feel where we build is as important as how we build.
You will find nwBuilt homes are built in established neighborhoods with existing lots, where streets, water and sewer are already in place. Neighborhoods are always walkable and near employment centers with mass transit options. This is the most environmentally friendly approach of where to build.
We believe in building Smart. And Green. Not to build Green for Green’s sake. Year’s of experience has taught us what works (and doesn’t work). This is how we build. And what really counts. It all starts in our involvement at the commencement of design.
PRIORITY 1: Thoughtful, experienced based design that keeps the building effective and efficient.
PRIORITY 2: Build a super energy efficient building envelope.
PRIORITY 3: Keep it simple. Spec proven systems for heating, ventilation and efficient energy/water use.
